Aethersea

I like stories. That's my thing: stories. I read them, I write them, I see them in clouds and paintings and an odd turn of phrase. If I had any sort of talent whatsoever I would draw them, too.
My parents are Brazilians who moved to the US more than twenty years ago; I grew up in suburban California and spent my summers in a city in the mountains near Rio. Sometimes we traveled to Europe, and once or twice to other parts of Brazil. When I was fourteen we moved to Denmark. It was strange and new and eye-opening. Not even five years later, and much to our surprise, we moved back. We are now in the same house, on the same street, in the same suburban city that I know so well. I find myself thoroughly surprised by the lack of deja vu.
